OPPO is set to launch its recent make, the Reno 10 in Kenya come next month. Reno 10 is the updated version of Reno 8 which was launched late last year.
The Reno 10 is a dual SIM with a fingerprint scan and comes in a delightful set of colours; blue, black, and gold with a glass front, plastic frame, and glass back. However, this device is neither water nor dust proof but hopefully it will be featured on the future Reno series.
On the bright side, Reno 10 has upgraded a number of features in comparison to the Reno 8. For instance, Reno 10 has a rear triple camera of 64Mp (wide angle), 32MP (Telephoto), and 8Mp (wide angle with autofocus) whilst Reno 8 had a rear triple camera of 50Mp (main) 8Mp (wide angle) and 2Mp (macro) with autofocus.
Reno 10 takes the win for better camera resolution. Reno 8 camera features are limited to LED flash, HDR, and Panorama while Reno 10 houses a vast number of features like night scene, portrait, time-lapse, slow motion, super text, ultra clear quality, movie mode, and multi-video mode properties to augment your photos and video giving it that creative touch. Moreover, it supports 4k video recording.
Storage–wise, like the Reno 8, Reno 10 comes with two options, so you can choose either 256GB or 128GB. The software aspect features colorOS 13.1 built upon Android v13.
The battery capacity is 4,600 mAh, and charging is done at up to 80W with type-C charging. That would still only take 11 minutes to half the full charge and less than 30 minutes to reach 100%. Reno 8 had a 4500mAh battery capacity
The performance rate of Reno 10 is significantly higher than that of Reno 8 as it’s powered by 778G Qualcomm Snapdragon processor while the Reno 8 was powered by 695 5G Qualcomm Snapdragon. Reno 10 will be equipped with Adreno 642L for graphics, offering a minimum of 8GB of RAM and an extra 5GB of virtual RAM.
The phone can be pre-ordered directly from the company’s website.
