DTE Names Shaffy Muhizi Country Director For Rwanda

Down To Earth Technologies (DTE) has appointed Shaffy Muhizi as Country Director – Rwanda. The company described the move as part of “strengthening our regional leadership and deepening customer relationships.”

Muhizi has more than 10 years in the ICT industry, in business development, strategic partnerships, digital transformation and delivering complex enterprise technology projects, DTE said. He previously held senior leadership roles at Broadband Systems Corporation (BSC), where the company says he worked with large government institutions and enterprise customers and managed ICT programmes across several sectors.

DTE also pointed to his experience building technology partner ecosystems. It says he worked closely with leading global technology vendors to form strategic alliances and develop solutions for customers.

He holds an MBA in Project Management from Oklahoma Christian University and a bachelor’s degree in Business Information Technology from the University of Greenwich. He has also done executive development programmes at Harvard Business School Online.

“As we continue to expand our presence in Rwanda, Shaffy will play a key role in strengthening customer relationships, developing our local team and delivering technology solutions that create measurable business value,” said Vincent Milewa, Managing Director of DTE.
