The Covid-19 pandemic has brought in sweeping changes everywhere, the biggest change being in the area of IT spending, Mitel is adapting very well to the change and has built up 7 solution pillars that are relevant to today’s situation.
“We build solutions for different solutions for different industries such as Contact Centre, Healthcare, Hospitality, SME & Mid-Market, and All-in-One UC, centred around remote/Home working options,” he adds. “Mitel also creates solutions for Cloud business as the key focus areas.”
With the global pandemic, IT firms and providers are experiencing demand for a scalable UCaaS portfolio, which comes at a low cost with a strong presence in instant messaging, presence, mobility, and conferencing services. OEMs in the region will also focus on the mid-market and small-to-medium business segments to expand and reduce the dependency on large enterprises.

The growth in demand for UCaas (Unified Communication as a service) will be driven increasingly by the implementation of hosted solutions as enterprises look to reduce costs and improve productivity.
Other factors including the sluggish economy and superiority of service models may contribute to an even faster uptake to UCaaS than anticipated, as businesses that may have previously deployed an on-premises solution may opt instead to deploy UCaaS.
