Emmanuel Makina Joins Inlaks From PAIX
Emmanuel Makina has joined Inlaks as Regional Head of Infrastructure Sales, marking a new chapter in his career in Africa’s technology infrastructure sector.
He joins Inlaks from PAIX Data Centres, where he spent six years leading the company’s Sales and Marketing function. During his tenure, he helped drive revenue growth, build strategic partnerships and expand the adoption of carrier-neutral data centre services across the region.
Before joining PAIX, Makina served as National Account Manager at Liquid Telecom, where he worked with enterprise customers to accelerate the adoption of Microsoft Azure cloud services and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions.

Announcing his departure from PAIX on LinkedIn, Makina described his time at the company as one of the most rewarding periods of his career.
“Some chapters in life don’t just build your career—they shape who you become,” he wrote. “Today, I say goodbye to PAIX Data Centres, bringing to a close an incredible journey that has been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career.”
Makina said he was grateful for the opportunity to help build the company’s commercial function and thanked PAIX founder and CEO Wouter van Hulten for his trust and mentorship.

“My sincere gratitude goes to our founder CEO, Wouter van Hulten, for believing in me, trusting me with the opportunity to build the commercial function from the ground up, and creating an environment where I could grow as a leader,” he said.
He also thanked his colleagues, customers and industry partners for their support over the past six years, saying the relationships he built would remain the highlight of his time at PAIX.
With his move to Inlaks, Makina brings extensive experience in data centres, cloud technologies, enterprise infrastructure and strategic account management as the company continues to strengthen its infrastructure business across the region.
