The stage is set and the wheels have been greased for DownToEarth Technologies’ event, the DTE Tech Day, 2022. The theme of the event is ‘Building an ICT Infrastructure for the future’
The event has been followed by players in the tech industry as it’s meant to bring them together. According to DownToEarth Technologies, the aim of holding the event was to provide a platform for players in the tech industry to learn about new cutting-edge technologies which will power their networks and ICT infrastructure.
The tech company will also be celebrating its 10th anniversary on the day of the inaugural event. The tech day has been slated for 3rd March 2022 and delegates have already registered to join as DTE marks its tenth year in the IT sector.
With its great line up of speakers and panels, the event has attracted a wide range of delegates. After all, it is important that we build an ICT infrastructure for the future. Technology is dependable on a lot of things in the future and building its infrastructure is equally as important.
According to the DTE Engineering General Manager, Bramwel Wakachunga, the company was founded with the aim of developing the skills which are needed to ensure customers get the best from their technology investments.
“We continue to grow our skill base and as it stands, we have twenty engineers certified in various technologies with experience to deploy the technologies. Out of these, fourteen are Cisco certified, three are Vmware certified while five are certified in various server infrastructure like HP, Dell, and IBM,” Wakachunga told CIO Africa.
Also speaking to CIO Africa in an exclusive interview, DTE Technical manager Florence Munene counted other growth opportunities that were seized by the tech firm over the ten years that they have been operational.
“At DTE we have been able to specialize in Advanced Enterprise networks Architecture, Advanced Security Architecture and Advanced Service Provider Architecture. With these specializations DTE has proven their capabilities to deploy complex Networks with Security as a foundation for Enterprises, SMEs as well as service Providers,” she said, “Over the last two years we have seen growth in opportunities we have gotten both in size and number of projects we have been able to handle. Our team has also grown which ensures we can work on more projects and ensure our customers receive the best services.”
Delegates are psyched up for the inaugural event to meet up with IT players who will shape and grow technology locally and regionally.
