Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) has appointed Robert Mutebi as Commissioner of Information Technology and Innovation. He is to drive URA’s digital, innovation and automation agenda.

Mutebi has decamped from his immediate role as Head of Business Technology at Development Finance Company of Uganda Bank (DFCU). He has also worked in various senior leadership capacities at MTN Uganda.

Mutebi holds a Masters in Business Administration from Leicester University, Masters in Telecoms Technology (Sikkim Manipal University), a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (Makerere University) and a Chartered Management Institute Level 7 Diploma in Strategic Management and Leadership. He is also a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Coach.
