Pesapal, Drift Consult Expand RACK Platform For Retailers
Pesapal has partnered with business advisory firm Drift Consult to expand the adoption of RACK, a business management platform that combines sales tracking, inventory management and payment processing for retail and hospitality businesses.
The partnership brings together Pesapal’s payment infrastructure and Drift Consult’s business advisory and implementation services, targeting merchants seeking to consolidate business operations that are often managed through separate systems.
Under the agreement, Drift Consult will support business strategy and implementation, helping merchants identify areas where technology could improve operations. Pesapal will provide payment processing infrastructure for mobile money and card transactions.

RACK is designed to give retailers a consolidated view of sales across multiple outlets, track inventory in real time and automate payment reconciliation. These functions can help businesses reduce manual back-office work and improve visibility into stock levels and revenue.
For hospitality businesses, including restaurants and bars, the platform supports order management and checkout processes. Bringing these functions together could help businesses manage transactions and orders more efficiently during busy periods.
“Businesses today need more than a payment solution; they need technology that gives them visibility across their operations and helps them make better decisions,” said Agosta Liko, Founder of Pesapal. “Our partnership with Drift Consulting brings together technology and business expertise to help retailers and hospitality businesses simplify how they operate.”

Ferdinand Eloto, Co-Founder of Drift Consult, said the platform is intended to help businesses monitor performance and improve operational efficiency.
“RACK gives businesses the visibility and tools they need to understand their performance, improve efficiency, and make more informed decisions,” Eloto stated.
The partnership reflects a broader shift among payment providers towards offering merchants software that supports business operations alongside transaction processing. For retailers and hospitality operators, integrating payments with inventory, sales and order management can reduce the need to reconcile information across multiple systems.

However, the value of such platforms will depend on how well they integrate with merchants’ existing operations and whether businesses can use the resulting data to improve decision-making.
The companies did not disclose the financial terms of the partnership or provide details on the number of businesses they expect to onboard through the collaboration.
