Leading Tech Firms Rally Behind Smart Gov Summit

In a groundbreaking development for the future of digital governance in Africa, the Smart Gov Summit 2023 has secured sponsorship from leading tech companies Microsoft, Liquid Intelligent Technologies, Manage Engine, and 11 Degrees Consulting.

This milestone event, slated for September 28th and 29th, will be hosted at the Edge Convention Centre, College of Insurance, Nairobi. Organized by dx5 (formerly CIO Africa) in collaboration with the Kenyan Government, Thunderbird School of Global Management, and Arizona State University, the summit promises to be a transformative gathering of minds.

The Smart Gov Summit seeks to bring together individuals from government, public administration, government agencies, and the technology sector across Africa, providing a platform to discuss the latest trends, technologies, and best practices related to technology in government operations.

The ongoing growth in the government technology sector is reflected in The National Treasury’s recent allocation of $107.7 million in FY 2022/23 to enhance access to digitized services and internet connectivity across the country.
