The tough call on saccos to adopt technology in order to mitigate challenges and remain competitive and relevant as well as effective by IS and CoreTech was mainly pushed by the history of Saccos not having a clear digital strategy and road map for digitizing business processes.
“Internet Solutions is happy to walk saccos along their digitization paths and to enable them stay competitive in the finance industry,” added Muthua.
Among the services offered to saccos by IS include and not limited to; Email Archiving-as-a-service, voice over internet services (VoIP), Managed Virtual Hosting.

DR. Bright Gameli, a Threat Intelligence specialist with IS, who was part of the disruption journey averred that along the digitization journey Saccos needed cyber security lest they would fall victims of the rampant by the minute cyberattacks.
“Threat intelligence allows one to prevent or mitigate cyber attacks,” said DR Bright Gameli, Cybersecurity specialist- IS Kenya, adding; “It is relevant for the protection of an organization from external and inside threats as well as the its processes, policies and tools.”
