Copy Cat Group, in collaboration with Red Hat, is advocating for increased adoption of open-source technologies among East African enterprises to overcome the limitations of outdated, monolithic systems and accelerate digital transformation.
Speaking during an exclusive event themed “Powered by the {Open} Source,” held in Nairobi, executives from both companies emphasized the pressing need for organizations to modernize legacy systems while maintaining high standards of security, compliance, and operational efficiency.
“Technology is no longer an enabler but a competitive advantage,” said Nadeem Noordin, Director of IT at Copy Cat Group. “Organizations choose open source to enable faster innovation, achieve higher cost efficiency, shift to cloud-native architecture, and enhance security and compliance.”
