Cisco Names Ossama Eldeeb Managing Director For Africa; His CV Explains The Strategy

Cisco has appointed Ossama Eldeeb as Managing Director for Africa, placing him in charge of the company’s commercial strategy and operations across the continent, with responsibility for working with customers, governments and the broader technology ecosystem to accelerate digital transformation.

Eldeeb brings more than 26 years of leadership experience across the Middle East and Africa. He joined Cisco in March 2023 as Regional Director of its Partner Organisation for the Middle East and Africa, a role that later expanded to include Türkiye, Romania and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). Cisco credits him with leading partner transformation initiatives, expanding managed services and accelerating regional growth.

Before joining Cisco, Eldeeb served as Senior Director of VMware’s South EMEA Partner Organisation, following earlier commercial and channel leadership roles at Microsoft and AMD.
