Statistics show that out of 16million employed Kenyans in a countray of an average 40 million people, only 1.5million (9.3%), are registered into pension schemes, Sundeep Raichura, CEO Zamara Investments said assering that for these numbers to improve, the government should introduce a law obliging employers to remit contributions towards their employees’ pension schemes.
The Fund has a growth rate of 54% but aims to raise that to 75% which is the global recommended rate.
