WIOCC Joins Internet Society

WIOCC has officially joined the Internet Society (ISOC), a global organization committed to promoting the open development, evolution, and use of the Internet. This membership underscores WIOCC’s dedication to shaping the future of digital connectivity across Africa and beyond.
As a leading provider of carrier-scale, integrated, open-access digital infrastructure and managed services, WIOCC plays a pivotal role in enhancing Africa’s internet ecosystem. The move aligns with WIOCC’s strategy of investing in hyperscale terrestrial networks and multiple subsea cables, including 2Africa, Eastern Africa Submarine Cable System (EASSy), Equiano, and the West Africa Cable System (WACS). These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, reduce latency, and expand broadband access across the continent.
