Kennedy Chinganya Takes Helm As COO For Microsoft Africa
Kennedy Chinganya has assumed the role of the Director of Sales Enablement & Operations (COO) for Microsoft Africa. He has come to the new position from his prior role as Managing Director at Altron Nexus.
Chinganya’s professional journey encompasses several key leadership positions. He previously served as Finance Director and Executive Board Member at Altron Nexus, contributing to the company’s strategic growth initiatives. With his transition to COO at Microsoft Africa, Chinganya takes on a pivotal role that is expected to shape the company’s operational dynamics in the region.
Announcing his new role on LinkedIn, Chinganya expressed his enthusiasm, stating, “I’m super excited to share that I am starting a new job as Director: Sales Enablement & Operations (COO) for Microsoft Africa. Chinganya has an extensive background in the technology and business sectors. His prior roles include Managing Director and Executive Board Member at MTN Business Kenya and General Manager Finance for MTN Group Enterprise Business Unit in South Africa. He has also held significant financial positions, including Business Financial Controller at Microsoft South Africa and Group Chief Accountant & Treasurer at IBM.
Chinganya’s accomplishments have been acknowledged within the industry, exemplified by his recent receipt of the Huawei LifeTime Achievement Award.
