Greenshift Forum 2026 To Gather East Africa’s ESG Leaders
TechTrends Media, in partnership with Ardena Consulting, today announced the GreenShift Forum, a new flagship ESG and sustainability event taking place on October 22, 2026, in Nairobi.
The forum will bring together corporate sustainability leaders, financiers, policymakers, and innovators from across East Africa to advance practical, business-focused approaches to environmental, social and governance (ESG) performance.
The forum sits within TechTrends Media’s broader GreenShift brand, alongside the GreenShift Podcast and GreenShift Magazine, and marks the brand’s first live event, bringing that coverage into a full-day, in-person format.

The forum responds to a shift already underway across East African business: regulators are tightening climate-disclosure expectations, global investors are pricing ESG risk into African deals, and consumer-facing brands face growing pressure to show sustainability results rather than sustainability language. GreenShift Forum is designed as a working session rather than a talking-points exercise. Every track opens with a data-backed presentation before its panel, so delegates leave with frameworks and case studies they can apply, not just soundbites.
The forum’s programme is organised around five thematic tracks, each featuring a presentation followed by a panel discussion:
- ESG as Competitive Advantage
- Renewable Energy Innovations
- Green Finance & Carbon Markets
- Public-Private Partnerships
- Circular Economy
GreenShift Forum 2026 has already secured commitments from a cross-section of corporate and civil-society partners, including Absa Bank Kenya, Family Bank Foundation, Bolt, Samsung Electronics East Africa, Maudhui House, among others.

Ahead of the main event, TechTrends Media will host “Countdown To GreenShift 2026,” a pre-event mixer on September 3, 2026, connecting prospective partners, panellists and delegates in the lead-up to the forum.
“GreenShift Forum exists to move ESG conversations in East Africa from good intentions to measurable business outcomes,” said Nixon Kanali, Founder of TechTrends Media. “We’re bringing corporates, financiers and innovators into one room to make the case that sustainability is a growth strategy, not a compliance exercise.”
