Georgina Mukami Lands New Role At NCBA Group
Just months after she was crowned the dxNova Woman of the Year, Georgina Mukami Odhiambo is celebrating another milestone. She has been appointed the Head of IT Retail Banking at NCBA Group.
This role entails strategic leadership, overseeing the implementation of technology solutions, and working closely with other departments. A significant aspect of the role is to analyse customer feedback and market trends to drive innovation. no doubt Mukami will be leading a team of IT professionals, all while striving to maintain a competitive edge in the retail banking sector.
With over a decade in the banking industry, Mukami brings a wealth of experience to her new role. She previously worked at the National Bank of Kenya, where she held several key positions, including Head of ICT Channels Operations and Head of Enterprise Services. Her responsibilities included managing ICT channels, ensuring effective service delivery, and overseeing software lifecycle management.

During her tenure at the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, Georgina excelled as an E-Channels Supervisor Officer. Her responsibilities included analysing and implementing e-banking business requirements and overseeing internet and mobile banking channels. Her strategic approach and analytical skills contributed significantly to the optimisation and performance of digital banking services.
In addition to her banking roles, Mukami is a Service Delivery Ambassador with over 12 years of experience managing multifaceted projects across various functions within bank operations. She has experience in product development and evaluating technologies such as RPA, data analytics, and productivity tools. As a Prince2-certified project manager, Mukami excels in coordinating projects, leading teams, and building effective relationships across organisations.
