Geoffrey Odundo Appointed MD & CEO Of NMG

Nation Media Group PLC has announced the appointment of Geoffrey Odundo as the new Group Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective April 7, 2025.

Odundo, a seasoned investment banker and senior executive, brings extensive leadership experience to the role. He previously served as the Chief Executive Officer of the Nairobi Securities Exchange (NSE) from 2015 to 2024, where he spearheaded various market innovations and achieved record-breaking milestones.

He joins NMG from CPF Group, where he has been serving as the Group Executive Advisor. Odundo has also held key executive positions, including being the first Managing Director and CEO of Kingdom Securities.

A distinguished academic, Odundo holds an MBA in Strategic Management from United States International University (USIU) and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics and Economics from Egerton University.

Nation Media Group’s Board Chairman, Dr. Wilfred Kiboro, expressed confidence in Odundo’s leadership, urging the NMG team to extend their support to the new CEO. He also thanked Richard Tobiko, who has been serving as the Interim Group CEO, for his contributions.
