The taskforce will have a major focus on infrastructure such as roads, Power lines, Pipelines’ ICT infrastructure and water reticulation systems among others. This will help the Government, fulfil its mandate to the people of Kenya, through undertaking key infrastructure projects across the country considered critical in nature.
Currently, the deployment, maintenance and protection of Critical Infrastructure is done in an independent and uncoordinated manner leading to disruption of essential services and losses due to accidental damage.
There is need to consider having a whole inclusive approach in the planning, designing implementation and protection of critical infrastructure.
