DTBU Appoints Jerim Maguire As New CISO

Diamond Trust Bank Uganda has appointed Jerim Maguire as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO).

With an impressive 15 years in the industry, Jerim Maguire brings a wealth of expertise to his current role, where he will spearhead and oversee ICT and IT operations within the organization. His extensive background positions him as a seasoned professional skilled at navigating the complexities of information security.

Before joining Diamond Trust Bank, the incumbent Jerim Maguire served as an Information Security & Risk Consultant at Panacea Infosec Pvt Ltd, a leading cybersecurity solutions company as a freelance, where he significantly contributed to enhancing cybersecurity practices and risk mitigation strategies.

Prior to his consulting role, Maguire held the position of Head of IT at Mayfair CIB Bank, showcasing his adept leadership in steering technological initiatives. His  career extends to other reputable financial institutions, including Cooperative Bank, NCBA Bank, and Equity just to mention a few, where he played a pivotal role in propelling these organizations forward in the realms of security operations.
