Dr Ronoh Appointed As Ag. CEO, ICT Authority
Dr Paul Kipronoh Ronoh has been appointed Ag. CEO, ICT Authority. Dr Ronoh will serve in acting capacity effective immediately. He comes into office under section 34 of the Public service Act and Paragraph 11 of Legal Notice No. 183 of 2013.
Prior to his appointment, he held the post of Director, Standards & Programmes at ICT Authority. He comes armed with a Bachelor’s in Computer Science, an MBA in Strategic Management as well as a PhD in Leadership & Governance. He also holds professional qualifications in Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) and Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
Ronoh is no stranger to public service following some of his senior roles in the past, key among them as Head of MIS, Kenya Post & Telecommunications Corporation (KPTC), Gilgil Telcoms Industries, Head of ICT and Quality Management System at Kenya Urban Roads Authority (KURA), Head of ICT, Kenya Civil Aviation Authority, and as Deputy Head of ICT at Agricultural Finance Corporation. He is presently at the forefront of integrating technology in education in Kenya.

He is a member of Harvard Leadership Excellence Square, the Institute of Directors of Kenya and a Fellow of the Computer Society of Kenya. Dr Ronoh has published a number of articles on leadership and technology and is currently a member of the Community of Researchers for Global Journals for UK and USA and a Fellow Reviewer for both International Journal for Economics, Commerce and Management. He is also a member of the Africa Regional Internet Development Dialogue on Technology in Education.
