A question to which he responded by saying that the millions of people were using Windows to do various things such as: viewing 650 billion web pages with the new Microsoft edge browser, streaming over 120 years of game play from X-boxes to their new Windows 10 devices and exploring the new more personal experience of windows 10; by asking Cortana over 1 billion questions.
“And these millions of people have not just been upgrading their current devices, the share of Windows devices, at retail, has grown each month since windows 10 has been available.” Mr. Myerson said.
Over the period of just 10 weeks these millions of people have made over 1 billion visits to the Windows App store, this in turn led to developers seeing great engagement, which led to the developer revenue increasing 4 times, since the windows 10 upgrade rolled out.
