AVEVA Appoints Khaled Salah As Vice President For Africa
Global industrial software company AVEVA has appointed Khaled Salah as its new Vice President for Africa, signaling a renewed push to accelerate digital transformation and sustainability initiatives across the continent.
In his new role, Salah will oversee a team of about 30 employees and lead the execution of AVEVA’s regional growth strategy. He will report directly to Jesus Hernandez, Senior Vice President for the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
Salah brings more than 15 years of experience spanning supply chain, procurement, and commercial strategy across multiple industries. He holds an MBA from Warwick Business School and a master’s degree in engineering from Ain Shams University.

He began his career at Schneider Electric in 2013, where he held several senior roles, including Europe Procurement and Supply Chain Strategy Manager and Global Commercial Strategy Director for the industrial automation business. Over his 12-year tenure, he built extensive expertise in supply chain operations and industrial strategy.
Salah joined AVEVA in 2022 to lead the global strategic partnership between AVEVA and Schneider Electric. In that role, he managed a 30-person team and played a key role in introducing new AVEVA software solutions across Schneider Electric’s verticals, helping unlock new growth opportunities.
With his new appointment, Salah will now also take charge of AVEVA’s operations across Africa, a region the company considers critical to its long-term strategy.

Khaled’s leadership experience in global environments will be instrumental in supporting our teams across the continent.”
AVEVA currently operates across 12 African countries, including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Egypt, Morocco, and Algeria.
Commenting on his appointment, Salah emphasized his focus on people and innovation. He noted that empowering teams and leveraging talent across the region will be central to strengthening AVEVA’s footprint in Africa.

“We will work together to accelerate the digital transformation of industries across Africa,” he said, highlighting the role of AVEVA’s CONNECT industrial intelligence platform and its partner ecosystem in enabling this vision.
His appointment comes at a time when demand for industrial digitalisation solutions is growing rapidly across Africa, driven by the need for greater efficiency, sustainability, and resilience in key sectors.
