Xetova’s Insights Summit: Fueling Digital Transformation
Xetova, in partnership with dx5, will hold its inaugural Insights Summit in the morning of 13th July 2022 at Radisson Blu Hotel, Upper Hill.
Themed “The Future of Business”, this exclusively C-suite-level Summit will host in-depth dialogues on the benefits of leveraging data insights for business impact. The event will feature industry-specific deep dives to unpack challenges and lessons from real digital initiatives, implemented by CEOs in Kenya with tremendous impact.
It is widely recognized that the progress made with information technology and its adoption over the last decade is a key driver of the 20x growth in the global wealth. The world now looks at Africa as the next business frontier, and organizations are rethinking digital solutions in the continent’s context, in order to remain competitive and positively impact the operating environment.

Enterprises are also struggling to realize a return on investments already made into existing infrastructure, in part due to implementation challenges, resistance from internal and external stakeholders and low utilization of data for insights.
The Insights Summit will offer carefully curated content around these topics, stepping on the tremendous experience of captains of industry and key-decision makers. At the event, Xetova will host the Cabinet Secretary for ICT in Kenya, Hon. Joe Mucheru. Participants in the panels and special appearances include:
- Carole Kariuki, CEO of KEPSA
- Martin Mugambi, CEO, Citi Bank
- Darshan Chandaria, Group MD of Chandaria Industries
- Anastasia Nyalita, CEO of the Kenya Health Federation (KHF)
- Grace Murichu, Deputy Commissioner of the Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA)
- Martin Ochieng, Group MD, Sasini
Beyond its objectives to trigger conversations and actions towards digital transformation, the Insights Summit will serve as the launching pad for two key projects: the second edition of the Xetova-Strathmore Executive Digital Transformation Program and a substantive study on the state of data-driven initiatives in Kenya.

The report called “CEO Perspectives: Data-Driven Transformations” is the result of 9-months of on-the-ground research and features interviews and reviews of digital project and strategies from over 30 top executives in Kenya. One of its main highlights is the five building blocks top executives need to successfully implement digital initiatives.
One of the findings of the report is that when key internal stakeholders have prior exposure to digital initiatives, projects implemented in the company are more likely to succeed. In line with this, the event will see the launch of the second edition of the Executive Digital Transformation Program in Strathmore with 200 scholarships offered by Xetova.
C-level executives are invited to join the Digital Transformation program by registering for the Insights Summit here.
