Wapi Pay Secures Global Payments License In Uganda
Wapi Pay, a provider of cross-border payments and remittances, announced today that it has obtained a global payments and international money remittance license from the Bank of Uganda. This license enables the fintech company to offer its services to customers in Uganda and worldwide.

In January, Wapi Pay received an international money transfer and cross-border remittance license from the Central Bank of Kenya to offer fast, secure, and cost-effective digital money transfers across borders, with a particular focus on Africa and Asia.
