It is against this backdrop that Fortinet together with her partner Redington has signed a sponsorship deal towards #TheYearAhead as shall be hosted by CIO East Africa on fourth February 2021, to innovate into a comeback plan for the businesses adversely affected by the pandemic among other aspects of economic recovery.
Themed: Building a more Resilient Digital Future, the virtual event will host renowned speakers like Dr. Kate Getao, CEO ICT Authority, Imran Chaudhrey, Country Manager at Fortinet East Africa, Peter Kahiigi, Cybersecurity Specialist, Global Cybersecurity Capacity Center, University of Oxford, and Anatole Gahongayire, IT Security Manager, RISA among others.

The CIO Year Ahead Conference will bring together ‘C’-level technology thinkers comprising: CIOs, CTOs, CFOs, CMOs, IT Directors, and Senior IT Executives across East Africa region.
The delegates will in overall focus on how to deploy innovative technologies that add value to the enterprise ecosystem and further break barriers of distrust in systems that hinder development and service delivery, especially after the paralysing effects of covid-19.
