Telkom Kenya, a leading telecommunications operator in Kenya has joined CIO100 Symposium and Awards by inking a deal to sponsor the annual event that brings CIOs and IT leaders from across East Africa together.
Telkom is delighted to partner with CIO 100 Symposium organizers said Ms. Catherine Mburu, Head of Marketing- Enterprise Division, Telkom adding: “Our quest is to broaden our networks and address challenges inclining on what does the future hold for business enterprises.”
According to Mburu, it is encouraging that CIOs whose primary responsibilities in corporate firms relate to business strategy, technology and technologists, visionaries and futuristic progressive ideas shall take a moment to converge and deliberately discuss how CIOs can capitalize on emerging trends and lead their organization through digital transformation.

Telkom Kenya is the country’s oldest telecommunications company. The company recently re-launched its brand from Orange to Telkom in June 2017 after the exit of immediate former majority shareholder, the Orange Group.

The event, slated for November 9th-10th, 2017 in Naivasha, Kenya at Enashipai Resort will feature presentations from high-level private- and public-sector IT professionals and enterprise visionary thought leaders, hence grant a chance to the delegates to learn from and with IT peers.
