Pay Television Company StarTimes Media has today announced a generous reward programme that will see subscribers enjoy upgrades to higher bouquets at no extra cost as well as bonus airtime upon renewal of their monthly subscriptions to a bouquet of choice.
The move is an effort to grow the company’s subscriber’s retention rate while extending benefits to dormant ones thereby encouraging account re-activations.
Speaking on this development, StarTimes Vice President Mr. Mark Lisboa noted that for every subscription made on the Basic bouquet, customers will enjoy a week long automatic upgrade to the Classic bouquet, while for every Classic Bouquet subscription, they will enjoy a week’s access to the Unique Bouquet at no extra cost.

“We have introduced this loyalty programme to enable our subscribers to access more premium channels at no extra cost thereby extending more value for less. We continue to enable more and more households across Kenya to enjoy affordable digital television since we established our operations in Kenya five years ago and are committed to growing our service offering going forward,” noted Mr. Lisboa.
StarTimes subscribers who renew their packages before the expiry are also set to enjoy 10% bonus airtime in addition to the week-long upgrade to a higher bouquet.
These incentives will equally be extended to the satellite television customers where for every month subscribed on Smart bouquet, subscribers will enjoy a week on Super Bouquet at no extra cost while getting access to the 10% bonus airtime once the package is renewed before its expiry.
