Siemon showcased its comprehensive portfolio of WheelHouse™ advanced data centre solutions at the 2016 DatacenterDynamics Converged Middle East & Africa conference and expo that recently took place at the Madinat Jumeirah Hotel in Dubai.
The key focus at the Siemon stand was the company’s copper and fibre optic cabling offering designed to help clients save valuable space in their data centre, minimise installation time and increase accessibility without sacrificing density.
Amongst the products on display was an ultra-high-density plug and play fibre system that supports up to 40/100Gb/s applications. LightStack® has the capacity to house up to 144 LC fibres or 864 MTP fibres within 1U and 576 LC fibres or 3456 MTP fibres within 4U and provides best in class cable management and user-friendly accessibility. Also on show was the innovative LC BladePatch® jumper, which features a push-pull latch to enhance installation and removal in the high density applications.
