Samsung receives positive impressions for Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge following its pre-order campaign launch

Samsung Electronics East Africa has already begun to receiving preorders of Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge following its pre-order campaign launch last week.

Samsung Galaxy S6 took top honours as the most innovative and creative product this year in Barcelona.

According to Robert Ngeru VP & COO Samsung Electronics East Africa, both the Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge are expected to be available in Kenya by April 16th.

“We have begun to receive inquiries for the Galaxy S6. The appetite for product is high because of its all new design, fast camera, in built wireless charging and the fastest processor in the market. The devices are beautifully designed, and are more powerful than any previous Galaxy device in terms of usability and functionality” added Mr. Ngeru.

The Samsung Galaxy S6 edge received more than 20 prestigious awards on-site at MWC 2015, including Ubergizmo’s “Best of Mobile World Congress,” Mashable’s “Top Pick” and Laptop Magazine’s “Top Pick.”

Samsung’s mobile security platform KNOX also received the prestigious honor of “Best Security/Anti-fraud Product of Solution” from the GSMA. The smartphones’ software and mobile security capabilities were recognized as the best solution launched during this year’s show in the enterprise mobile security division. KNOX has received rigorous Government accreditations worldwide, including the United States Department of Defense. Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge will both have the Knox solution making them the best enterprise devices in the market

According to the Android Authority, Samsung Mobile has received over 20 million preorders after the launch in MWC 2015.

Locally Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge pre-order customers will receive an exclusive offer of free wireless charger and free cover. Customers can place their pre-orders at all Samsung Experience stores and authorized dealers countrywide.
