Samsung Electronics East Africa has opened what it calls an experience store at Nairobi’s Two Rivers Mall where consumers can check out mobile and consumer devices – and their interaction through Internet-of-Things connectivity.
Speaking at the opening, Vice President and Managing Director, Samsung Electronics East Africa, Jung Hyun Park said the store gives consumers a glimpse of what he called Samsung’s innovative device convergence.
“By having both mobile and consumer electronics products at the brand shop, it offers the opportunity to our consumers to experience this,” he said.

Also in the offing is an exclusive hire-purchase service that will be available at the store and dial-a-service facility. The store’s staffed with Samsung academy graduates who help customers choose products that suit their specific needs, he added.
“The new experience stores provide us with an opportunity to showcase how the technology at Samsung can be integrated to offer daily personal and business solutions,” concluded Mr. Park.
