Samsung Launches New Model Of S24 Series
Samsung Electronics East Africa has unveiled the Galaxy S24 FE, the newest member of the Galaxy S24 series.
The Galaxy S24 FE features a camera setup that includes a 50MP wide lens, an 8MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, a 12MP ultra-wide lens, and a 10MP front camera and supported by Samsung’s ProVisual Engine, an AI-driven camera system designed to improve image quality. Features such as Nightography for low-light performance and Adaptive Pixel Sensor technology are said to enhance detail and color in various lighting conditions. AI tools like Object-Aware Engine adjust colors and contrast for more lifelike photos, while Galaxy AI’s Photo Assist options provide editing capabilities that include generative editing, slow motion, and a portrait studio with stylistic filters.
According to Samsung, the Galaxy S24 FE is designed for enhanced performance, powered by its Exynos 2400 series chipset. The device’s cooling system reportedly includes a larger vapor chamber, crafted to maintain steady performance even during intensive gaming or multimedia streaming. Samsung describes the 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display as equipped with a 120Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering vibrant visuals.

Battery life is another focus, with Samsung touting the S24 FE’s 4,700mAh battery as capable of extended use without frequent recharging. Additionally, Samsung highlights AI-driven usability features such as translation tools, note-taking aids, and browsing support all designed to streamline user interactions and boost productivity.
The Live Translate feature supports real-time communication across languages, Chat Assist refines message tone and grammar, and Browsing Assist provides on-demand translations of entire web pages. Note Assist and Transcript Assist automate note-taking and transcription tasks.
As part of the Galaxy ecosystem, the S24 FE supports connectivity with other Samsung devices, allowing for file transfers, display extensions, and additional integration across platforms. In line with sustainability goals, the Galaxy S24 FE is manufactured with recycled materials, including plastics, aluminum, and rare earth elements, while the packaging is said to be composed of 100 percent recycled paper. Samsung has also committed to seven OS upgrades and security updates for the device.
