Unveiled in August 2018, the Samsung Galaxy Watch is a waterproof, Tizen-powered smartwatch with seven-day battery life (reviewed here). At a special Unpacked event on 20 February we could see an addition to the line in the Samsung Galaxy Sport.
@OnLeaks broke the news on Twitter earlier this week, posting renders based on factory data of what he says is the Galaxy Sport, codenamed Pulse. The new watch will be available in black, silver, green and pink gold, he claims.
Shown here in black, the images appear to lack the rotating bezel that have become a familiar feature on the company’s Tizen smartwatches.

The Samsung Galaxy Sport will reportedly replace the Samsung Gear Sport, which went on sale in 2017.
When is the Samsung Galaxy Sport release date?
This is the first we’ve heard of the upcoming Galaxy Sport, so it seems a little soon to expect it to launch during Samsung’s 20 February Unpacked event, where it could also be announcing the Galaxy S10, foldable Galaxy Flex (or whatever it ends up calling that) and potentially even a new Galaxy Home Mini smart speaker.
The last Galaxy Watch launched in August 2018, and that might be a more fitting date for its release, potentially alongside the Galaxy Note 10.

How much will the Samsung Galaxy Sport cost?
This is pure speculation, but you can buy the standard Galaxy Watch from £279, while the Gear Sport had a retail price of £299. So around £300 is likely.
