Customers are at the heart of any organization’s success. And it comes as no suprise that global software company Microsoft has been keen to receive feedback and listen to what consumers had to say in the development and release of Windows 10.
The company has actively sought for consumer feedback in the form of the Windows Insider Program. Throgh this program the company has called on various Windows Insiders to help shape the future of Windows and collaborate with the software manufacturer to improve the features and the functionality of Windows 10.
Speaking at the recent CIO100 symposium and conference, Rotimi Olumide Director Windows Business Sub Division Sub Saharan Africa said the program is aimed at enthusiasts who enjoy beta testing and sharing their feedback on new software and their experience using it. Despite having already launched Windows 10, Microsoft is still working with their various testers as they continue to update and develp the operating syste to make sure it keeps evolving to meet their customer’s needs.

“It is important to us that all the products we create give our customers and consumers what they need to have the best experience whether in work or play and thats why we keep listening to them and incorporating thir feedback,” said Mr.Olumide.
One of the needs Mr. Olumide said the company has identified was the call for organization controlled identities with the Windows Store, whereby in Windows 10, as an IT administrator the user can access a new web-based Store portal specifically for organizations. The organization can then be able to buy apps relevant to the business and assign them to employees who simply need to click on a link and install them. The idea is that the business or organization has a more controlled and customisable experience matching its unique needs and making it easier to acquire, create and deliver apps the way it would want.
“Whether at an enterprise or private level, our focus with Windows 10 is to put you at the centre. We’ve heard you telling us you want to be in control of your content, privacy and experience, and we’ve worked to ensure that our technology enhances this,” explained Mr. Olumide.
