Red Dot Distribution Scoops Lenovo SMB Distributor Of The Year Award

Red Dot Distribution is staying true to their heritage, the ideology to provide technology with a difference. Recently, the East African distribution giant was recognised for its efforts by Lenovo. The distributor, also known as RDD, won the Lenovo SMB Distributor of the Year Award for FY20/21.

RDD was born from humble beginnings, the company was first incepted in 2001 with a total of 4 employees and a contract of being the authorised dealers for Compaq HP in Tanzania. Fast forward 19 years later, and Red Dot is now beyond the door of greatness, working up to their motto of developing into a fortune 500 company, and emerging as East Africa’s premier ICT distributor.

The past 15 months have proven to be daunting for myriad industries and companies due to the pandemic, RDD walking away with the award is quite the achievement, especially considering the fact that the pandemic seeped its way into the processes of every industry, the tech industry being no different.
