Paymentwall Showcasing White-Label Solution At Africa Tech Festival
Paymentwall will showcase Banana Platform, a white-label banking solution that lets banks, fintechs, telcos and platforms offer multi-currency accounts, FX and payouts under their own brand. Announced at the Africa Tech Festival, it is built for teams designing financial products for African markets and global corridors.
Banana Platform enables partners to provide multi-currency business accounts with localised IBAN or account details, handle FX conversion, and manage mass payouts and scheduled settlements. Role-based access, statements and exports help finance and operations teams track balances and flows across regions.
It is designed to sit alongside mobile money and local payment rails. Paymentwall supports options through partners such as Cellulant, Selcom, Qosic, PaySwitch and Paga across key markets including Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa, Tanzania, Uganda, Ghana, Zambia and Benin. The platform can be embedded into existing apps or platforms as a fully white-label solution, so end users see the brand they already trust while Paymentwall runs the underlying infrastructure.

“Many teams in Africa are building financial products on top of fragmented infrastructure,” said Honor Gunday, CEO of Paymentwall. “Banana Platform gives them white-label banking capabilities, backed by Paymentwall’s licences and experience, so they can launch faster, serve more markets and keep control of their brand.”
Paymentwall brings more than a decade of experience in global payments to Banana Platform. Founded in 2010, Paymentwall supports hundreds of thousands of merchant accounts in more than 200 countries and territories. The company operates under US and UK e-money licences and focuses on regulatory compliance, security and local market knowledge, including work with merchants serving customers across African markets.
What this means for partners is that they can launch their own white-label banking products faster, under their own brand. They can combine multi-currency accounts, FX and payouts with local payment methods and mobile money while using Paymentwall’s licences and infrastructure, while keeping the direct customer relationship.
