Bolt (formerly Taxify) has announced the appointment of Olaoluwa Akinnusi, the new Country Manager in Kenya, to oversee operations and help scale the Bolt business across the country.
He brings seven years of managerial experience having worked as a consultant with a Financial Advisory firm out of Sub-Saharan Africa, his core focus being Corporate and Structured Finance.

Prior to joining Bolt, Akinnusi worked at Jumia as the Global Head of Operations & Logistics, where he led supply chain management, operations strategy development, implementation and growth across 7 African countries within his purview for a period of three years.
He has a bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Economics and is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Economics.
Bolt is a leading taxi hailing app in Africa with more than 25 million passengers in over 30 countries globally.
