Moringa School And CompTIA Launch Cybersecurity Training

Moringa School has partnered with CompTIA, a provider of vendor-neutral IT certification and training, to introduce an 18-week Cyber Security Analyst Course (CySA+). The collaboration that kicked off with an exclusive master class and networking event is designed to give cyber security experts the know-how and abilities to protect their companies from new and emerging threats.

The event, with the theme ‘Future Proofing the Cyber Security Workforce’, was designed to meet the needs of industry executives, educators, and chief technology officers (CTOs, CISOs), as well as IT managers. Its goal was to arm participants with the knowledge and skills needed to successfully navigate the dynamic world of technology.

The need for a highly skilled and flexible staff is higher than ever as cyber threats become more complex. Upon completion of the masterclass, attendees gained practical approaches to enhance the competencies of their cybersecurity teams, guaranteeing their readiness to tackle forthcoming obstacles. Along with being a great opportunity for networking, the event brought together leading industry figures and groups that are committed to increasing cyber resilience.

A key highlight of the masterclass was a session led by Dr. Bright Gameli, a cybersecurity expert and member of Moringa’s Tech Advisory Board. His session, titled ‘Building a Cyber Resilience Strategy: Technology, Skills, and Teams’, focused on the importance of identifying and securing high-risk assets within organizations. Dr. Gameli stressed the critical role of upskilling existing staff to close security gaps, noting that this is essential for creating a robust cyber defense strategy.
