Mart Networks to launch Data Center solutions with Siemon and Arista

Mart Networks Kenya is set to launch Data Center solutions with Siemon and Arista Networks to offer innovative solutions.

The announcement was made recently during a seminar held by Siemon and Arista Networks in conjunction with Mart Networks Kenya to inform attendees about the Data Center offerings.

Speaking at the event, Iyer Sivakumar, Sales Manager, EMEA-Africa, informed attendees that during the seminar that Siemon would not be concentrating on their primary function which is cabling.

“I just want to give a different dimension to Simone today, we want to talk more about Data Center’s today,” said Sivakumar.

Siemon announced that it offers a Data Center solution which includes Copper and Fibre Plug n Play Trunks, Intelligent Infrastructure Management (IIM), Intelligent Power Management, Full range of racks and cabinets, Cooling, power solutions and a complimentary Data Centre Design service (Once Qualified by Siemon).

The Siemon Data Centre Design service guides you through the process of selecting, designing and deploying the heartbeat of your data Centre – The Cabling Infrastructure.

Arista Networks was pitched as an organization founded to deliver software defined cloud networking solutions for large data center and high-performance computing environments.

With more than one million cloud networking ports being deployed worldwide, Arista delivers a portfolio of 1/10/40 and 100GbE products that redefine network architectures bring extensibility to networking and dramatically change the price/performance of data center networks.

Speaking at the event, Marius Keown, Arista Networks, System engineer, informed attendees that by registering on Arista’s website they could be able to get a feel of the products offered by the company.

“Anybody sitting here or if you have technical colleagues who would like to see or feel how our switch looks if you go and register on our website, you can register with your cooperate email address,” Keown said.

Mart Networks has also been appointed distributors of ARISTA Networks solutions for the East and West Africa region.
