Leon Kiptum Joins The Board of Kenyan Fintech Association

The Association of Fintechs in Kenya (AFIK) has announced the appointment of Leon Kiptum to its board of directors. Leon brings a wealth of experience and expertise in the fintech industry, marking a significant addition to the board.

With an impressive career spanning over a decade in financial technology, Leon Kiptum, who currently serves as the Senior Vice President of East Africa, Flutterwave, has been a pivotal figure in pioneering innovative solutions within the Kenyan and African fintech landscape. His visionary leadership and strategic insights have driven growth and fostered technological advancements in the sector.

As a board member, Leon will leverage his extensive knowledge to further AFIK’s mission of fostering collaboration, advocating for regulatory policies that support innovation, and promoting the growth of fintech companies across Kenya.
