Kenya Airways Signs Partnership With RoamBuddy
Kenya Airways has entered into a partnership with RoamBuddy through a Memorandum of Understanding signed between Julius Thairu, Chief Customer and Commercial Officer at Kenya Airways, and Mandeep Birdi, the CEO of RoamBuddy.
This partnership sees the launch of KQSafari Data, a solution developed at the Fahari Innovation Hub as part of the airline’s Open Innovation Challenge. The product is designed to provide travelers with seamless, reliable, and cost-effective data connectivity across the globe.
Announcing this collaboration, Kenya Airways said that the new product is set to improve its services by addressing a key pain point for international travelers.

“With more than 2,250 affordable roaming plans available across 180 countries, KQSafari Data is designed to provide our guests with seamless, reliable, and cost-effective data connectivity wherever they travel. By addressing a key pain point for international travelers, we continue to strengthen loyalty, enhance the end-to-end customer journey, and position ourselves as Africa’s most customer-centric and innovative airline,” reads a LinkedIn post by the carrier.
“By tackling this critical pain point, we are enhancing the end-to-end customer journey, building stronger loyalty, and positioning Kenya Airways as Africa’s most customer-centric and innovative airline,” said Thairu.
