“Jumia Market has been in operation for two years. First as Kaymu but then we rebranded to Jumia Market in august. Our business model is still the same and the service is much greater,” said Terry Mwangi, Head of Marketing, Jumia Market.
“Jumia market is 100% focused on small businesses. The moved was inspired by the fact that we want to be close and more accessible to them. Seeing that we are a community market place we want to increase the interaction between the sellers and the team. Buyers will now be able to reacieve delivery easily and faster since they can pick their orders to town. The buyers can also walk in anytime for assistance and they will be guided by our team.” Added Mwangi.
