Stanley Chege, the immediate former CIO at Madison Insurance has joined Jubilee Insurance as the Group CIO, with effect January 2021.
As the Group CIO, Stanley has ownership of IT and as such has responsibility for the key delivery requirements that fall to the technology department and will oversee operations in Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Burundi, and Mauritius. In addition to contributing to the organization’s overall IT strategy, he will establish, maintain, and oversee the technology architecture and technology strategies that power the organization, ensuring that the systems are available and reliable.
He is also responsible to set parameters for when, where, and how others within the organization can purchase, implement, and deploy technology, among other key duties.

Prior to his stint at Madison Insurance, Stanley worked with Mwamba Africa as the Director of Governance, Risk, and Compliance after which he moved to Cooperative Bank, where he served as the head of ICT Quality Services for a period of 4 years.
He has an MBA, a BSC degree in IT, and is currently a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) candidate at Walden University. He has professional certifications like MCSE, CNE, CNA, CISA, CISSP, CISM, CGEIT, CRISC, PMP, CPP, COBIT, and ITIL and is an active member of professional bodies namely, PMI, ISACA and ISC2, NSLS, and CIO East Africa among others.
Stanley is lauded for having leveraged the disruptive technologies of Social, Mobility, Analytics, and Cloud to drive digital transformation (DX) for various organizations in Africa.
