Jubilee Holdings Limited (JHL) has announced the appointment of Dr. Julius Kipng’etich as its Regional Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Dr Kipng’etich previously served as the COO of Equity Group Holdings Limited. He spearheaded regional growth, new product development and the mobile virtual network operator (MVNO) – Equitel development.
“I am delighted to welcome Dr. Julius Kipng’etich to Jubilee Holdings. He brings on board an outstanding track record of; business process re-engineering, strategic management and a deep understanding of the regional market,” said Jubilee Holdings Chairman, Mr. Nizar Juma.

Track record
Dr Kipng’etich is the immediate former CEO of Uchumi Supermarkets Ltd and he brings to the group extensive knowledge and experience in strategy and management.
In addition to this, he had an illustrious career as the Director and CEO of the Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) where he has been credited for a complete turnaround of the organization.

It was during his tenure that KWS recorded tremendous growth and was listed as one of the top five most respected parastatals in East Africa.
Dr. Kipng’etich holds a Masters of Business Administration and a Bachelors of Commerce Degree (Accounting Option) from the University of Nairobi.
