The week opened with the Executive Think Tank: The AI-First Evolution event with the theme “Transforming Customer Experience Through Agentic AI” convened C-level executives, technology leaders, and enterprise decision-makers to examine how Agentic AI is reinventing customer experience.
One of the most consistent themes throughout the discussion was the compression of competitive timelines. As AI adoption accelerates globally, companies are no longer competing only on products or services but increasingly on how effectively they integrate AI into customer engagement and operational models.

Organizations are increasingly moving beyond traditional automation tools toward Agentic AI systems capable of orchestrating intelligent interactions across multiple customer touchpoints. These systems enable businesses to anticipate customer needs, personalize engagement, and deliver services on a scale.
Exploring the Future of Customer Experience Through Agentic AI
During the event, Asli Uysal, Global SVP of Sales and Alliance, Senthil Shanmugam, Senior Consultant for CX/AI, and Adewale Adeyemi, Head of Executive Business Development, led an in-depth exploration of the ongoing transformation of customer experience (CX) enabled by Agentic AI. Their discussion covered the emerging framework for CX, as well as practical use cases that are shaping the future of customer engagement. The session provided attendees with insights into how Agentic AI is redefining interactions, driving intelligent orchestration, and enabling organizations to deliver more seamless and personalized customer experiences.
A notable highlight was inviting Damilola Osikoya, Founder and CEO of Voyagequest, to join Senthil Shanmugam on stage. Together, they reflected on the design of smarter customer moments, emphasizing how Agentic AI is being leveraged to create more intuitive and impactful customer journeys. Damilola specifically shared perspectives on the evolving role of AI in the global transport industry, illustrating its capacity to enhance operational efficiency and elevate customer satisfaction within this sector.

This theme was further explored in a session titled “Reinventing Customer Engagement Through Agentic AI,” delivered by Temi Odude, Senior AI Solutions Architect at Microsoft.
The presentation examined how autonomous AI agents and intelligent orchestration platforms are transforming how organizations interact with customers, helping enterprises move toward more predictive and seamless service experiences.
Responsible AI Governance Is Becoming a Business Priority
While innovation was central to the discussion, leaders also emphasized the need for responsible AI deployment and strong governance frameworks.
A fireside discussion on “Ethical Governance of AI in the Modern Workplace” brought together cybersecurity and technology leaders to explore the safeguards required as organizations scale AI adoption.
Moderated by Asli Uysal, Global SVP Sales & Alliances at TeKnowledge, the panel included: Frances Undelikwo, CISO, Nova Bank; Emmanuel Etuk, Senior Technology Leader, World Trade Centre; and Kelvin Agaje, Cybersecurity Lead, TeKnowledge Nigeria
Panelists highlighted the importance of cybersecurity safeguards, data governance, regulatory alignment, and executive accountability to ensure AI technologies are deployed responsibly.
Another key insight was the growing gap between AI experimentation and executive readiness. While technical teams are increasingly testing AI capabilities, many organizations are still developing the leadership frameworks needed to scale adoption strategically.
From the conversations at the event, one thing was clear – artificial intelligence is reshaping industries at an unprecedented pace, and organizations that succeed will be those that combine innovation with responsible governance, and sustained investment in talent development.
For Nigeria, with its growing technology ecosystem and youthful population — the opportunity is immense.
