iColo Names Wanja Muriithi General Manager
iColo, a carrier-neutral data centre provider, has announced the appointment of Wanja Muriithi as its new General Manager, a move aimed at accelerating business growth in Kenya and strengthening Digital Realty’s footprint across East Africa. Her role will also support integration efforts and enhance collaboration with Digital Realty’s joint ventures across Nigeria, Ghana, Mozambique, and South Africa.
Wanja will report to Marcel Louw, Managing Director for Africa at Digital Realty. She joins the organisation with extensive experience in operational excellence, strategic leadership, and sales management, grounded in a strong customer and employee-centric approach.
With a deep understanding of the ICT landscape in East Africa, Wanja has held senior roles at Microsoft, Tarsus Technologies, and Isolutions Associates, where she served most recently as Managing Director.

“I am delighted that Wanja has decided to join our iColo team as we move towards achieving our business goals. As we continue to think global and act local, she will be a great fit for this role,” said Louw.
Before joining iColo, Wanja spent seven years as Country General Manager at Tano Digital Kenya, formerly known as Altron BTG Kenya.
“iColo’s immense growth over the last 10 years is an inspiring story, and joining the team to steer the carrier-neutral data centre provider to even more growth is an exciting opportunity,” commented Wanja. “I am looking forward to meeting customers and gaining a deeper understanding of their colocation needs and how iColo can support that,” she concluded.
