Huawei mobile attracts over 2000 pre-orders of its Y9 in Kenya

Following the successful launch of the Huawei Y9 2019 in the Kenyan market over 2000 pre-orders were made both on Jumia and retail stores across the country surpassing the target by 140%.  The phone is now readily available in the market for Kshs 24,990 and will also be available at Telkom retail stores across the country.

Speaking of the ongoing sales, Huawei’s Head of Eastern Africa Mobile Steven Li said, “We would like to acknowledge the fact that Y9 2019 has been one of the devices that has generated interest in the market, our pre-order sales were above our expectation, as of yesterday we were still receiving pre-order requests both online and offline.”

“Huawei Y9 2019 features the new generation 6.5″ Notched Huawei FullView Display, with a high screen to body ratio and comfortable sleek design, users can experience cinematic-level visuals and smoother control. The delicate appearance and trendy colours are elegant yet stylish, and the looks are always in fashion,” he concluded.
