Howden Turkey, the Middle East and Africa (TMEA) was recently awarded “Broker of the Year” at the 5th Middle East Insurance Industry Awards (MIIA) organized by the Middle East Insurance Review (MEIR) for achieving excellence in the insurance industry.
Winners were selected after thorough evaluation of 300 strong entries in 15 categories were evaluated by 15 jury members drawn from the leaders of the region. The award process was independently audited by Ernst &Young and the results were announced in an award ceremony held at Conrad Dubai on November 26, 2018.
Howden TMEA ranked first in the “Broker Companies of the Year” category for the leadership it exhibits in the services rendered to its clients, helping boost standards through in-depth knowledge and understanding of the market, outstanding leadership in the digital domain and use of technology in adding significant value to the risk management and insurance process, a successful management model and promoting greater professionalism in the market.

Atınç Yılmaz, CEO of Howden Turkey, the Middle East and Africa Region, received “Broker of the Year” award on behalf of Howden TMEA. Commenting on the accolade, Yılmaz said, “We have become the broker of the year in Turkey, the Middle East and Africa by combining our strengths of focus on solutions that are designed based on the market’s needs, long years of experience and reliability in the industry, our dynamic structure and a culture of always going the extra mile.
