GoTV Shield 2017 edition set for Weekend kick-off

The 2017 edition of the GoTV Shield is set to kick off this weekend with 32 matches slated for Saturday 24 June and Sunday 25 June 2017 at different venues across the country.

This was announced via FKF’s official website ,where football lovers are informed that the defending Champions Tusker FC will begin their title defence on Saturday with a trip to Ukunda to take on SS Assad while runners-up Ulinzi Stars will be in action on Sunday against Wajiji FC at the Kenyatta Stadium in Machakos

“This year’s edition will see teams  grouped into two zones, A and B, to ease transport costs of the participating teams,” the post continued

“A kshs 2 Million prize is at stake for the winner, while the runners-up, second runners-up and fourth placed team will take home kshs 1 Million, 750, 000 and 500,000 respectively.” It concluded
