Geoffrey Muli Appointed Acting Kenya Power MD
Utility company Kenya Power has appointed Geoffrey Waswa Muli as Acting Managing Director effective May 17, 2022.
Muli replaces Rosemary Oduor who serving in the same position in an acting capacity since August 2021. She proceeds on annual leave.
“Kenya Power has appointed Eng Geoffrey Waswa Muli as acting managing director with effect from 17th May 2022 in place of Eng Rosemary Oduor, who was serving in an acting capacity. Eng Oduor is proceeding on a well-deserved annual leave,” KPLC said in a statement.

Prior to his appointment, Muli was the acting General Manager in charge of Regional Coordination in KPLC.
He holds a Master of Business Administration (Strategic Option); Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and is currently pursuing a PhD in Business Administration (Strategic Option).
Troubled KPLC is yet to appoint a substantive MD since the resignation of Bernard Ngugi who left under unclear circumstances last year. The troubled utility company has had five CEOs in the last five years.
