Entrust Datacard Names Joseph Ongoro Regional Sales Executive, EA

Joseph Ongoro, a Business Development Manager with a solid history of achievement in solution sales and operations, has been appointed the Regional Sales Executive, East African Region for Entrust Datacard, a leading provider of trusted identity and secure transaction technology solutions.

Ongoro steps in to develop a pipeline of new business opportunities throughout the region and to identify, engage, manage, and close opportunities. He is also the regional selling expert for authentication and public key infrastructure (PKI), to bring competitive knowledge and solution industry expertise for Entrust Datacard Enterprise solutions.

Ongoro is a motivated leader with strong organisational and prioritisation abilities whose expertise spans customer focus, strategic planning, new business development and team leadership. Before joining Entrust Datacard, Ongoro held positions at First Distribution, Masterpiece Fusion Ltd, and Microsoft.

He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Operations Management from the University of Nairobi.
